KerLuxY Quality Standards
Identified artists, authentic works, a purchase made with confidence.
Updated on October 15, 2026
KerLuxY’s quality standards is a written commitment that every artist makes in order to be featured on our online art gallery. It rests on three pillars: complete transparency toward the buyer, clearly described production methods, and ongoing quality control.
Behind every artwork lies a person, a studio, and a story. We have verified each one before presenting them to you. No artist is included without having read, accepted, and signed this charter.
I – Total transparency: an identified artist, an authentic work
You know who is selling:
- At KerLuxY, you cannot simply register yourself online: every artist must submit an application, which we review before granting approval. It is not possible to create a seller account on your own,
- We collect and retain each artist’s identification document, his/her Sirene registration certificate (or an equivalent business identifier for artists based outside France), and, where applicable, his/her Kbis extract (or the international equivalent),
- We visit every artist’s studio before any work is listed online,
- Each artist signs an agreement in which they commit to upholding this Quality Standards.
You are purchasing an authentic work of art:
- The artist declares that they are the owner of the work. It is neither a copy nor a counterfeit, nor is it the product of receiving stolen goods,
- For any work that has been appraised, the artist provides a certificate of authenticity,
- The vast majority of the works presented are one-of-a-kind pieces.
You are buying within a protected environment and benefiting from a fair price:
- No artwork may be offered for sale on the KerLuxY gallery without first being identified by us; we assign a unique identification number to every piece. Our IT system prevents artists from listing any work that we have not personally identified,
- For each work, the artist must complete a detailed product sheet, which serves as a commitment regarding the quality of the item being sold,
- All sales facilitated through KerLuxY must be processed via KerLuxY; artists agree not to conclude sales directly with buyers they have met through the gallery,
- If an artist offers similar works through other channels, they agree not to charge a higher price on the KerLuxY gallery,
- In the event of a significant breach, we will take necessary measures, which may include the removal of the artist from the platform for failing to comply with this Quality Standards.
II – Production Method: Works with a known provenance
- Every piece offered for sale on the gallery platform comes with a product sheet detailing its characteristics, including its geographical origin and the materials used,
- By purchasing an artwork through the KerLuxY gallery, you support a clearly identified local network and contribute to sustaining culture and the arts, both here and beyond,
- Each product sheet specifies the total number of existing pieces worldwide, as well as the number available through KerLuxY. For a unique, one -of-a-kind piece, both figures will be 1. For a limited-edition photograph or a work produced in a small series, the numbers will be higher, for example, 5 copies in existence globally, with 2 available on KerLuxY. If the artwork has been used to create derivative products (such as posters or postcards), this is also noted on the product sheet.
III – Quality Control: A commitment that extends beyond the sale
- The artist ensures the quality of their work on a daily basis, in compliance with the regulatory and legal requirements of their profession,
- The artist commits to fulfilling orders, adhering to delivery deadlines, and providing an invoice and a certificate of authenticity to the buyer,
- Once a sale is completed, each client may leave a review regarding the artist and the KerLuxY gallery,
- A contact address is available for visitors and clients: contact@kerluxy.bzh. Every message is read with care and receives an appropriate response.
